3. Thought partnership
In my advisory work, I bring deep experience in health systems and higher education; innovation and improvement; and leadership and organisation. I help tackle challenges of strategy, transformation, market access, stakeholder dynamics and the human impact of change. As editor of the journal BMJ Leader, I’m passionate about building robust evidence and using it for impact. Often, what’s needed is to sharpen clear ideas in complexity, and to draw out the signal from the noise – whether in a paper, a strategy or a board conversation.

4. Strategic facilitation
When I facilitate, I try to make it easy for people to speak honestly and learn together. I enjoy designing and chairing seminars, panels and workshops, spotting connections in the room and drawing out insights that might otherwise be missed. My role is to ask good questions – ensuring you focus on the questions that really matter, and leave with clarity and concrete next steps.
